Mackinac Island (pronounced mack-in-awe) is located in the Straits of Mackinac, in Lake Huron, between the Michigan’s upper and lower peninsula. Low-lying island whose land is made up of organic material associated with coral. The staggering sight of the bay that the Club Monte Anfi apartments provide are some of the best the island can offer. The Island Institute works to sustain Maine’s island and coastal communities, and exchanges ideas and experiences to further the sustainability of communities here and elsewhere.
